Since the First World War, bush flying has a long tradition in Canada’s north to serve remote communities, patrol forest fires and pioneer the world of aviation under extreme conditions. We at Black Moose Outposts are proud to carry forward this tradition with our world class pilots and fleet of classic airplanes that can land on earth, water or snow. We are licensed by Transport Canada and hold a valid 703 Air Operator Certificate. Based out of Howey Bay in Red Lake, Ontario, we are proud to fly our guests and their supplies, as well as contractors, trappers, fishermen, hunters, adventurers and canoers into Woodland Caribou Park and elsewhere. We are available for charter with wait times if required. Our planes easily take external loads including boats, canoes and lumber.
Pickup service is possible upon request. Please get in touch with our crew to arrange for your personal pickup service. Our Pilatus Porter PC-6 & Cessna Caravan are equipped with an amphib configuration and can generally service any airport in the region. Alternatively, we are happy to organize charter service to pick you up from your home destination.
